The lovely hosts, Des and Eileen, made me feel right at home, welcoming me warmly at every encounter. The room was clean and comfortable, complete with cozy blankets. Breakfast featured a delightful selection, with Aunt Eileen's pancakes being a standout.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

Loved the charming decor with family artifacts in the dining room, which made breakfast a delightful experience. The pancakes at breakfast were a standout. I couldn't get enough! The hosts, Des and Eileen, were attentive and made sure everything was perfect. However, the shower curtain in our room was a bit short, leading to some water on the floor, which was inconvenient. Despite this, the comfortable bed and hot shower made up for it. Also, the clutter on the dining table made it tough to set down our teapot without juggling things around.

Perfect for solo travelers looking for comfort
Eileen had this warm cute vibe that immediately put you at ease. The breakfast was very nice, I mean homemade pancakes, they really hit the spot after a long day. After a tough ride on my bike, they allowed me to assemble my suitcase bike right there, now that's service.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but honestly it was worth every penny.

Charming Stay with a Touch of History
I recently spent a night in a lovely Double or Twin Room that perfectly captured the charm of Clifden. Eileen’s warm hospitality made me feel at home right away, and the breakfast was simply amazing with freshly prepared dishes and the option of pancakes that were a definite highlight. The ambiance of the guesthouse, filled with interesting family artifacts, really added to the experience. One minor drawback was the slightly short shower curtain that caused a bit of water on the floor, but it hardly detracted from my overall enjoyment.

We had an incredible stay with friends! The breakfast was absolutely to die for, especially the homemade pancakes. Desmond and Eileen were super helpful, offering great recommendations for places like Guys on the Main Street. The guesthouse is a perfect base for exploring the area.
One minor hiccup was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit spotty at times. It didn't take away from the overall experience, though.

The guesthouse is perfectly located right in the heart of town, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. My room was warm, cozy, and impeccably clean, providing a restful environment. Each morning, I enjoyed a fresh and delicious homemade breakfast, which added a lovely touch to my stay.
As a light sleeper, I occasionally heard street noise, which might be an issue for some.
